KingIDivine hits The Producers Corner Next Week
Next week we'll be back with D-DOT's Producers Corner show live on blogtalk.com/icebreakerradio ! This weeks guest is well know for his Crown Jewels Mixtape series which he is about to release the 3rd in the series. Kingidivine has a soulful style which I think the game is in need of right now. We'll be discussing his upcoming projects as just his thoughts on todays production. Here's more straight from his site www.KingIDivine.com
Born to Guyanese and Panamanian parents, King-I-Divine entered the world as Sean Maxwell on January 27, 1982. Growing up in New York City, when hip hop and R&B were in their prime, music became a very influential factor in his life. As a result, King-I Divine’s style of production often utilizes dusty kicks and snares, reminiscent the booming 1990’s urban sound.
As a result, King-I Divine’s style of production often utilizes dusty kicks and snares, reminiscent the booming 1990’s urban sound. His main tools are old records and the MPC 1000. According to the young composer, Wu-Tang Clan producer RZA, along with Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and the Neptunes, heavily influenced his style. King-I is also inspired by a range of artists- from early 90’s groups like Boot Camp Click and Jodeci to musical greats such as Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke.
King-I-Divine recently graduated from Berklee College of Music, earning a Master Certificate of Production. He is the CEO and owner of King-I Entertainment based out of Atlanta, GA

Let The Madness Begin!
Well we're just days before the NCAA tournament, I feel like a kid on Christmas day! I am a big basketball fan in general, its my favorite sport and after this it goes right into the NBA playoffs! As far as the top seeds it went to the teams with the best record which is a good basis but some of those records are a little inflated based on the conference like Duke for example. The ACC isn't the same ACC it was in the 90's the level a competition isn't there so thats why I suppose they won 30 and lost 4. The Big Ten and Big East would be the more power conferences in this and the Big 12 is pretty tough as well so I can agree with the other seeds. I haven't picked a champ yet, but my Final 4 consists of Kentucky facing UConn and Louisville facing Pitt on the other side. Lets see what happens!

Kobe is NOT better than Jordan!
I see with the ever growing count of "new" Laker fans, some people don't really know the sport of basketball. Sure Kobe has 5 titles, scored 81 has a gold medal but he hasn't went undefeated in the finals as a player, he hasn't NOT played a game 7, he hasn't won 5 MVP's or 6 finals MVP's in an era when MVP wasn't a popularity contest. Jordan has transcended the game as well from merchandising, to television and he wasn't as diva-esque as Kobe is. It seems today all these new Laker fans let their fan hood speak for them and not reality. Now is the now I'll give Kobe the best player of this era but to say he's better than MJ is completely absurd. Get off the Laker bandwagon and open your eyes and your minds because there's more to the history of basketball beyond what happend since 2008!
